It's fun and free. Seems to be playable without m.t. therefore I might pay a few bucks to support it :)
SL is apparently i bit more difficult than PL. But like PL it has a wealth of features and very active and sizable hubs.
Well recommended!

Small error. The game does not need to be purchased. It is free to download and play. Micro transactions are what keeps the game going.

So apple's giving them *that* much trouble, eh? I'd bet it's something really small and silly, *or* the cynical reason, that apple wants a bigger cut.

@Octahedron

Spacetime Studios originally intended for the game shop currency, platinum, to be shared across their games. But Apple did not approve of that and now platinum you buy in one of the games cannot be used in the other game.

@Sente That's... that's just poor. Then again, from apple I'm not surprised at all.

How sad is it that this game's ground combat looks better and probably even deeper than STO's ground combat.

To Larry Everett and Massively,

Please improve the professionalism of your articles.

I would be MUCH MORE likely to read your articles if you included a LINK to the source, or to what the article is about.

I agree. There are six links to Massively within the article, yet no outside link or source link at the bottom.

@b3n

Most of their articles include the SOURCE link at the bottom. They just forgot.

No conspiracy.

@b3n It's from a press release. We can't link to a press release that we get in our inbox.

@ShawnSchuster

How about a link to the game you are talking about?

https://market.android.com/details?id=sts.sl

Massively article are NOT useful compared to those on professional proper websites.

It seems like an extremely desperate way to get traffic at the expense of integrity.

Did they fix the crazy permissions requirements they had in beta?

*checks*

"An application with this permission can determine the phone number ... whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to and the like."

GTFO!

@Unverfied B

Why are people so afraid of these permissions? Are you a top secret Agent for the government and are passing secret information? I doubt that so I highly doubt they want any of your stupid emails or phone numbers.

Stop being scared.

They ALWAYS forget.

At least I don't remember seeing a Massively article that included an external link.

Looks like a solid mmobile title. Levels 21-25 free update is already in the works too.

80,000 beta testers already on Android, too. Impressive.

Hurry up Apple!

SpaceTime Studios has always shown a preference to Android. It doesn't surprise me that they launched on Android first. Apple's approval process is no secret and they could've easily done a simultaneous launch but they chose not to.

By alienating iOS users in such a deliberate manner has caused me some ire. When I tried to voice this on their blog. I found my post quickly censored and deleted. This isn't the first time they've shown such totalitarian acts. I hope other iOS users will let their dollars speak for them whenever it is released. Make them understand that we do not like being treated as second class citizens.
