They did not say the software will instantly ban, but rather flag the account.
Flagging an account means literally just that, putting a big mark on the account which then lets the game staff know that the account MAY be doing something stupid and to keep an eye out for anything suspicious in the future. But they won't ban without thoroughly checking first, I'm sure!

As long as this Crisp Platform thing isn't as buggy, intrusive, and annoying as Game Guard than I'm ok with it.

This seems like an interesting idea. I, like others, hope it does not flag people who just love to grind the same creature-type for materials for hours on end. Hope this turns out well..
