Gamescom is barreling right at us, and NCsoft is prepared to ride that train for all it's worth. The game publisher, along with ArenaNet and Carbine Studios, has announced its schedule of events for the European trade show later this month.
Guild Wars 2 will, of course, feature heavily in the company's presentations. Along with several big-screen live demos, ArenaNet plans to host several Q&A panels covering design, art, PvP, and more. There's even a costume competition planned and several chances to score sweet loot from the dev team.
The NCsoft booth will be located in Hall 9 at A11, and the company has provided several ways that travelers can keep track of the weekend's events via social media. Visitors will have the opportunity to check out these new games in addition to chatting up the many developers who will be on hand for the event.

I don't know what "day" is for you, but there has only been 1 GW 2 article released TODAY. If you want to go by time, then sure... maybe 2, but you're pushing it.

Who cares about GW2 ?? Hate to break it to you Massively but most gamers dont care about GW2, it's all about SWTOR.

@Kark you know there is a significant difference between MOST and YOU. just because you care about SwTOR doesn't mean i care. Secondly, this is an MMO site which means its about MMO's and SwTOR isn't the only hot new mmo coming out. finally, people that make comments like that shouldn't be posting in a Gw2 article.

@Kark SWTOR is a 3 month and done MMO. It only has story going for it and once you're done the story it's the same MMO we've been playing for a decade. A lot of MMO fans will no longer pay $15 a month just for raiding or rerolling either. So while the story might be awesome, once they are done with it it they will be quitting instead of starting another endgame loot treadmill.

Actually most MMO gamers will pay 15$ for a good MMO. Remember unlike GW2 that will have to get their money back with MT, good games like TOR wont have to do this. Only games that the devs know will never be great like GW will have no sub etc for this reason becausse they know players will not pay 15$ for GW in the long run. And to say people will leave TOR after 3 month is just trolling bigtime. The only reason i'm so harsh against GW2 on these forums is because Massively only cares about that game it seems. And when Massively says GW2 will dominate at that show that is just plain patetic.Wake up i say.But hey anyone who likes fantasy games with walking rats and crabs and magic(like the MMO world havent seen enough of those games) enjoy gw2 tera what have you........

Wait. So if an MMO player is willing to pay $15/mo for a good MMO, what does it matter if they spend it in via MTs or on a Sub? It's the same amount, yes? Speaking of, have they even released what the sub fee will be for SWTOR?

@Kark Please l2write, that was complete gibberish. You obviously know little about gw2 or about Anet and their philosophy on gaming and pricing.
Swtor will make a great a game IF it was single player but sadly its not. SwTor is basically what gw1 is except not full instanced like gw1. In gw1 I remember hating running in groups with people that had the same companions as me and here we are a fully open world with people walking around with the same companions. Story is great, from what i see is gonna be shallow choices like mass effect than The Witcher 2's real complex choices.
Anyways have fun listening to same Npc voices, from what i hear thats all the fun you are gonna be having.

Hey...where's the salad eating contest they should hold at Gamescom?

(I should be more Charr-like! Let's throw in a meat-eating/HotDog contest, too!)
