The gallery modul you're using is horrible tbh, no original size view? Or am I just missing something? Also: source.

The gallery has always been horrible on Massively. Not always providing a large enough image to read everything, even when you open it to full size.

Quoting what other have to say on many articles, its 20 fricken 11 damnit. We don't play at resolutions of 640*480 or 800*600 anymore. Get with the times and give us 1600*1200 & 1920*1200 and larger images already. And a better gallery viewer!

Yeah... I thought each article had at least one source link somewhere. This one just has internal Massively links, no source, and gallery pictures that are even worse than the one in the article. Kind of a waste.

To echo what others have said, where can we see a readable version? I know my eyes aren't what they used to be, but even with reading glasses on the names on the full image are unreadable.

Not to be a jerk, but I have to ask why one would bother posting such a detailed graphic if it could not possible be read?

That chart, oh WOW (not referring to the game, but that took a lot of thought and patience). Going to have to bug Namaste a little about it, It'd be fun to go through in much bigger format.

Very impressive...

...but IMO, if you are going to include MMOs that made it to the states, even with some caveats, you probably should include ALL MMOs: Ones that are only in Asia and even ones only available to Europe or Russia or certain other countries. Still, I realize you have to "draw your line" somewhere and it's still very impressive. I can't think of an MMO (that made it to America) that isn't on here.

NWN AOL was out in 1994 - it truly was the first non MUD mmo, and somehow its not there.

@Ahgasbane

Now that you mentioned that game (AOL's NWN), I don't see Battletech on there either (it started at GENIE and later made it's way to AOL).

And certain games from the Sierra Network aren't there (Ysberius). Nor are certain games from RPGN.net (except Kingdom of Drakkar, which came from RPGN.net).

@Space Cobra

And then there was a graphic online game service that had graphic online avatars and lobbies that was only for the Atari computer; it had a nice joystick/graphic controlled version/variant of the popular "Trade Wars" game mixed among some of their limited offerings.

And another 'nother thing! ;P

They listed "the 4th Coming" and I even see some Korean-top-down Iso games, but not the *main* one; where is Diablo and Diablo II?

None of Simutronics' games seem to be on the list either and they started on GEnie back in 1988.

Well, to be fair, those were text-based (even though I remember they did add some pics to Gemstone 3 in a later patch). IMO, if they listed those, they'd probably have to list the major MUDs and MUCKs, too.

So, IMO, integrated in-game graphics is probably the dividing line for this list.
