G'luck in whatever it is, champ. I look foward to reading.

Global Agenda still only has world PvE up to about level 18. Its all PuG battle missions and such to level 50 after that. (As of a few months ago).

Free Realms is so different from the rest of those games. Its more of an excuse to play minigames than an MMO. Dance parties, baking, bear wrestling, go cart racing. There is no real storyline or progression like the other games.

As soon as it goes F2P, Ill be back in City of Villains with you. I always liked it better than Champions, but not better enough to pay the monthly fee.

You should have included Hellgate Global. It plays like Global Agenda but is instanced PvE all the way to level cap.

bleh, people always just vote for their personal favorite game. Vote for something you know little or nothing about, maybe you will get interested and try a new game out, and love it.

For the record, i voted for perfect world, cause i know NOTHING about it, but i hear people mention it in a good light around here, so i would like to know more, and see how much fun it is to start now, with no previous knowledge.

PS: when people say "City of Heroes", what they usually mean is "City of Heroes/Villains" ..it's just cause heros came first that people default to it when typing/talking for brevity's sake, IMO.

@Resurge

That's actually what Im doing. I've heard and read about BP, so I figure I'd vote for it in hopes of getting a positve review of the game.

Agreed. I also voted for Perfect World, for the same reason. I've tried all but that and Free Realms, but the latter strikes me as oriented more towards children, which kills any interest for me.

@Resurge

Yeah it came down to Everquest 2, Black Prophecy and Perfect World. All three I know little about. I chose Perfect World because I've only seen it mentioned here and there but not much beyond that.

For the love of god please do not do Rift, it is extremely boring and would be a complete waste of time. All the other ones would be way more fun to watch, except Perfect World.

Taking one sentence and basing your judgement of the person on that one sentence-just bad.

While I am a CoV junkie (started playing in CoH Beta, enjoyed the heck out of it and played it off and on for years, CoV is the one that stole my heart), and I have enjoyed EQII off and on over the years as well, I want to hear about a game I've never played. I also want to hear about one I might be interested in playing, and since I'm not a fan of action-based MMOs that reduced my options. Still, there is one that really does fit: STO!

Free Realms combat was sort of fun for a while but the dreaded CU/NGE of Free Realms turned it into a "1" key mashing fest. Unless you happen to be very fond of mashing your "1" key, I would stay away from that one.

Black Prophecy being so high kinda surprised me, do we intend to torture Mr. Everett? I wonder if they fixed the bone crunching lag issues, horribly grindy missions, lack of ship customizations and varied gameplay, and nonexistent high-level content?

I think Age of Conan would make for a very very fun choose my adventure, especially if he decided to check out the open PvP servers. Vindictus and Global Agenda all seem like interesting choices as well due to their relative innovative nature in today's online gaming market.

@theinternetman Lag is gone on US server. Missions are still grindy. There are more ship parts then there were in beta. Gameply will always consist of go here kill these, but some of the newer terminal missions are different. Don't know what happens in the higher missions, but i hear there are things in the works. Then again I"ve been hearing that since eu beta.

I will be buying the xp boosters. There is not enough in between to not get them. It's sad because the beta testers had AWESOME ideas. And the closest I've seen them come to it is an escrot mission through one of the open sectors in the early levels. I figure i would normally pay $15 bucks a month to play a game. I can probably spend that much on boosters.

I voted for STO. I went back to it after a year and found some things greatly improved (ground combat) and some things... less so. Worth a look.
