According to the game's backstory, the game takes place 800 years in the past, with humanity on the brink of eradication due to the ambiguous sinning of mankind. The Seven Wise Men helped preserve civilization in floating palaces, developing the art known as "tuning" to allow musical melodies to be used as weapons. While the localization appears to be a bit scattered, the trailer just past the cut certainly promises some interesting visuals if nothing else. You can also look at the official Facebook page, which features a series of comics translated to English to help introduce the game's concepts and play style.

Have you ever thought to yourself that bards are such a supremely cool idea for a character class that they ought to have a whole game devoted to them? Apparently you're not the only one, as Gamania today announced its upcoming game, Tiara Concerto, a game focused around musical gameplay in floating castles in the sky. And with all joking aside, it seems like a pretty interesting concept at face value, although it's a bit difficult to divine how well it will play out over time.

WARNING!!! Anyone with a sugar problem DO-NOT-VIEW! The sickly-sweet-saccharine-sweetness of the voice alone in the clip will send you into sugar-shock, if not the visuals!

Another eastern grindfest MMO with sub-par graphics and gameplay! I'm definitely excited for this release!
But look they hired old women to do VAs that make them sound like small children so pedophiles will play their games, oh boy! Look at that generic anime concept art! ... and what's this? There's a gimmick where the classes are based on instruments? Holy crap!
Definitely playing this and pouring my life savings into the cash shop. 10/10 massively awesome report on a clearly worthwhile MMO!

well, I guess this is probably the closest we will ever get to a Skies of Arcadia sequel .... the combat didn't look too bad, but I highly doubt that the airships will be pilotable and WTF was up with the dancing and the semi-naked cat chick was kinda disturbing.

If only Paragon Studios where to update CoH's character creator so you could make your toons to look something like that. Sigh...
...unfortunately I didn't see much in the way of music or sound. But what looked like a bunch of fancy pre-set characters in action, unless you pay threw the nose via cash shop to customize, among other F2P nonsense. Yes Fakeassname, I won't likely be playing it. :(

Funny how anything cute, original or different will attract hatred and sarcasms, it reminds me of the same macho reactions to Hello Kitty Online where you have to cooperate and can't kill anything.
Sure tell me how unsound and ludicrous it is to have a sexy catgirl playing the guitar in a sky palace when you have been killing zillions of humanoids and animals for 7 years in WoW and its likes.
Btw the boss reminds me of Rayman The Great Escape's first boss, it was a big pirate robot shooting laser from its feet and cannon balls from its hands. Now THAT was a cool game :)
