I didn't like the Stamina system but because I only play it casually it doesnt particularly affect me.By the time I get around to playing again it has reloaded to 1000.

The game is also perfectly playable without a cash shop.

Is this basically Dungeon Fighter Online with a 3d graphics engine? That's the impression I'm getting out of it.

It's almost nothing like Vindictus. Much more like DFO with actual 360 degree motion.

Its actually not a bad little game. I dont see myself getting completely enthralled in it, but its a nice little diversion.

@cmaddox19 So basically you go to an MMO review site ran purely for reader pleasure and slander grammar rather than commenting on the game which the article was about? Congratulations on wasting your time, good sir! Have a muffin.

At the risk of feeding a tone troll (or a bad inside joke), I believe the double dashes are the MLA standard for adding thoughts to the end of a sentence. I personally don't like them myself, because they look butt ugly. Though I suspect some debate could be made if Beau is using them correctly here. But I am not sure that is the point of his article.

Skeaking of which, care to add something about content of the article as opposed to the execution? I personally think the standard character -- unless you cash shop customize it -- is a no sell for me.

Oh...the comment that Danteeeee and I where referring was making distracting criticisms about the writer's gramatical style. That comment has now been removed. So feel free to ignore our 2 cents on the matter. :)

Pretty sure Massively posted several reminders about the Codes of Conduct. You should go and read it. Personally, I hope they ban you, because that is no way to treat another person.

On topic, didn't get into CB QQ.

Great writeup!

Been playing RH for a bit now, it's really fun and can be played for any amounts of time.

"I would have to say that, behind Nexon, Perfect World does cash shops probably better than any publisher I know."

Nexon... doing great cash shops...

At least from my experience on Mabinogi and DFO, I can't help but wonder if that was actually meant as sarcasm.

@Sorithal yea i was gonna say something also ..Nexon is awful IMO. Nothing worse than TEMPORARY virtual items for real money. Buying virtual stuff is already a debate with myself - RENTING virtual stuff with real money is out of the question. The only thing worse is selling items that make you stronger - especially if the game in question involves PVP in any way.

@Resurge I completely agree that rentable items suck, MOST of the time. If the item is of high quality I have found it to be worth it. It just depends.

Also, most of what I was referring to was the shops within Mabinogi and Maplestory, two of their most popular games. (I would guess Maplestory is easily their most popular.) I love the items in there, and from my experience (and in looks at the shop now) most items in those games are permanent. In every one of their games they do offer usually a mix of high quality, rentable items and other normal items like mounts or hair dye, etc. The variety is what I love.

Honestly, I love Nexon games, but I was wondering the same thing. >.> Their cash shops are pretty hit or miss depending on the game.
