If you're a Fallen Earth subscriber, you're about to get a few thank you gifts from Icarus and GamersFirst. A new blurb on the post-apocalyptic MMORPG's website outlines the goodies in store for loyal wastelanders that stay subbed from August through October.
Fancy white boots, hats, and jackets are the order of the day, so if you've ever had the urge to dress your clone like a pimp or an extra from the Matrix, now's the time. The devs are giving away some pretty cool pets as well, and you'll take home a skin dog, a chupacabra, and an old creeper if you stay subbed for all three months.
Subscribers "won't have to buy these or do anything out of the ordinary to get them; they will gravitate towards you like mosquitoes to freshly exposed skin," says the Fallen Earth website. It's also worth noting that these gifts are not part of the veteran rewards system which Icarus says will be taking effect when the free-to-play transition is complete.

Is there an appearance tab in Fallen Earth or are these items only going to be cosmetic items?

There currently is no appearance tab, but if you ask that question again when the game goes Free2Play you might get a different answer ;)

When is it going F2P and did they re work the charcater animations since beta ?
I tried it in beta and it filled that online Fallout need of mine but the game needed some work.

There is not an appearance tab, but you can dye some stuff now, unlike at launch.

I loved the chupacabra joke, too funny.
Still, until these folks realize that it may be their game but it is your time and their Eulas are simply idiotic, they will continue to have limited success.
Really? "please stay subbed for at least three months", why, that the magic number for the next fiscal year? (shakes head)

@Graill440 It's through the transition to Free2Play. Obviously if the game will eventually not require a subscription, some people may not want to stay subscribed. This is our way of saying thanks to those that do stay subscribed for supporting the game through the transition to Free2Play.

Thats another great point, F2P, These folks lemming away like all the other industry peeps in hopes that the spike they get from the few misinformed folks will carry over to long term paying subscriptions. The industry knows what it is doing, it stinks, and its a sad thing many gamers are unaware of it.
But to each his own, Like a bad MMO the misbrand F2P will pass quietly as lawsuits (already in motion) Take hold. You cannot call something free to play when your sole intent is to get people to pay and for you to make a profit, thats the point that will kill the F2P fad.
