Now that they made a great WoW style game in a sensible, quality and enjoyable way, I would love to see the devs tackle a 'next gen' mmo such as SW:TOR (story) or GW2 (combat/events) and I really think they could break into the NA/global market with great reviews. Since RoM has been a pretty big success im sure the devs could get funding as well.

They've proven they can make a good game, now they should be able to tackle a revolutionary/next gen game! good luck if they try :P

@BigAndShiny I don't know if anything changed, but Runewaker already announced long ago that they were working on a "next gen MMO" and that Frogster would have exclusive world-wide publishing rights(but I'm sure a lot can be read into that).

Of course, things can always change.

@BigAndShiny

I think ROM is more like WoW then Rift is. (The graphics seem very close)

Few things that turned me off to ROM- after getting to lvl (26.22,20) Priest,Mage,Knight

1. The non stop constant gold spammer(s).
2. The economy
3. Impossible to get in dungeons at the lower levels.- Even being in a guild, the higher levels didn't have interest.

Other then that, the game is worth the monthly fee :D

Yes, if the game were different the game would be different.

A diablo style dungeon that changes every time you enter would be a nice addition to any game.

pvp servers are ghost towns, game has many hacks and hackers, the pay to win model is out of control. IMO stay away from ROM the amount of money it takes to be considered comptetative is way more expensive then any subscription game could ever be.
