Ammold in Eve. The stars are so brightly shining at night away from all the big cities. I can almost see the dancing girls near the asteroid belts now....

@Bramen

I like most of the systems in the Forge or Sinq Laison, myself. I just hope the next artwork update makes the nebulas more interesting. :3

The Shire.

But seriously, I hate summer. I'm a Fall guy, wink wink, nudge nudge. I kid, I kid.

Sorry, coffee just kicked in.

You're right, Sanctum has a strange relaxing vibe that I find fascinating.

I play for some ten mins before going to work in the morning, and it seems like it's always late May in there, that's refreshing.

But while Sanctum is your summer "resort", I cannot help thinking about Vanguard world.

When you're exploring Qalian shores you really feel like you're adventuring in some dangerous and yet wonderful new world.

Guild Wars' the Jade Sea
Even for the games age it is still the most awe inspiring sight in the world of Tyria.
Closely followed by the Methani Archipel.

OK, now. Where's that picture from? That place looks very inviting.

Sanctum? Are you kidding me? I would say more Kelari Refuge, or even the whole of Shimmersand is more summery.

Other summery places I really like in game-

Yavin IV (SWG)- Used to have beach parties there with the old guild.

Tortage (AoC)- When it isn't trying to kill you...

Istan (GW)- Fanged Iboga and all...

I haven't played in years, but I was always a big fan of Babiki Bay in FFXI

Phantasy Star Universe: Paracabana Coast
This area is still used heavily on JP servers as a lounge/chat area.
GM events frequently use this as the hub for events.

Absolutely love the new WoW: Cata Goblin themed areas for this reason.

The Lost Isles were brilliant looking and I wish to death they had left them in the game. I don't believe the STV revamped really pulled as much from the Lost Isles tool kit as it should have visual-wise.

Seaside in Free Realms is the coziest, warmest place in any MMO. I love it. Fireworks, a beach...I wanna' move there.

The Ski Chalet in City of Heroes (they open it on Virtue in the summer for player events sometimes). What better way to spend a 100 degree day then on the slopes!

Tortage (AoC) + DX10 + Max Settings + AoC's beautiful music = best I've seen in MMOs

Crysis + DX10 + High Res texture packs + RELI2 TODs = by far the closest to real life anyone's gotten in a game
