@(Unverified) I have a strong feeling people are getting banned from here, not because they have very strong opinions about something or are staunch defenders of certain games, but because they can simply not control their potty mouths. Standard procedure, really.

If you do insist on calling people idiots, you might want to reconsider your grammar if you don't want to be regarded an idiot yourself.

They are also releasing PvP Rifts with this patch to spice things up in open world PvP.

Anyone claimed trion isn't releasing anywhere near enough content yet in this thread?

probably, and that trion is pure evil for releaseing rift at all. And adding to it all the features most of us take for granted from any mmo these days.

Raids, cross server ques, pve, pve. Everything remotly related to WoW is evil.

I look forward to the next breakthrough mmo where we all play cubes that can't talk move or in anyway interact with there environment, least it wont be like wow right?

PVP Rifts, people. That's World PVP. Stop griping, the game isn't incredible but they sure are adding content at record speed. Imagine what this game will look like in a year or 2? It's good enough that I won't uninstall like I do half the other MMOs out there.

Keeping it on the hard drive and popping in from time to time to check out these updates. Nothing wrong with that. TEN times better than anything CO or STO or AoC has done in the last few years, that's for sure.

Cross server LFG won't kill server "community". What kills server community are the people who don't give a crap about anyone else but their guildmates. Instead of acting like interacting with the rest of the server will give you the plague, how about we all act welcoming to new players and new 50s and help them get established. If people are acting up, well their reputation spreads and it's really that simple. C'mon people, PUGs aren't that bad. Try going in with a positive, constructive, attitude. You may actually meet some nice people

Really not happy with the addition of cross-realm dungeons. Makes the world seem way smaller.

I'll admit, my first reaction to seeing cross-server LFG was disgust. But after reading some comments I'll just hope that Rift can buck the trend and have a positive experience with its cross-server LFG tool.

To explain myself: It's not just the bad apples using the tool with relative anonymity that's a problem with cross-server. You also have to consider that since the rewards from dungeons are so good, people will have less reason to leave their main city. And cross-server will make groups even more accessible time-wise, thus furthering the use of it at the cost of other activities. It's good for ease of use but it does have its drawbacks for spreading out the player population.

Fortunately, Rift does have open world dynamic content to pull players out into the world. Trion just needs to continue to offer substantial incentives to players to participate in Rifts.
