Though the non-flashpoint playthroughs don't need RSVPs

LOL!

I understand the need to control crowds, but first we get that there will be two set-ups, one inside Comic-Con for attendees and one outside for those without a Comic-Con pass (Open to the Public).

Then we get "Lottery"...

Then..."Email your RSVP"

What next? DNA samples? A Nerf sword Arena Fight? Star Wars trivia challenges? ;)

@Space Cobra

The Flashpoint event is in addition to the standard demo during the day that is open to the general public. You just don't have to queue up for the Flashpoint.

From Stephen Reid's Twitter:
"@Tigerslim You can absolutely come by during the day and just queue up to play."

All I can say is the folks who get to play these are going to have a blast..it is heads and shoulders above anything Blizzard has ever come up with

@Dunraven

You know something?

If your main rival is almost 7 years old, no longer being developed by the people who initially brought it into the world and is something you can just look to as a template for "how to do X" when you can't do yourself (saving time and money) I'd be bloody surprised if you managed to not be better.

Seriously, you'd have to INTENTIONALLY sod up your product to not be better.

Can we all get over how bad and dreadful Blizzard are and just appreciate TOR for what it is? Frankly, if it's only marginally better than WoW then I doubt I'll be playing it for very long.

@Dril

that is why everyone is killing WoW and blizzard eh?

if it is so easy to out class them then it would have been done by now, and wow would have fallen by the wayside.

@jslim419

It says far more about the quality of recent games more than how easy it is.

Off Topic: Jef, in your picture on this site, you look nothing like I imagined you to be.

On Topic: oh, the woes of living in Europe.

I wonder if TOR will continue the lovely tradition of EU folks being second-class customers?

@Dril

I never read that huge thread on the subject so maybe I'm missing some insight, but what about Gamescom, Eurogamer Expo, Paris Games Week, and Dreamhack? All EU shows they'll be at.
