Eve should go F2P if they are to include any type of micro-transactions. Now they are screwing us with a monthly subscription and oh, if you want that nice new shiny then you will have to kick in another $70.00. On top of that they have plans to make "pay to win" items. This game is going to shit over CCP greed.

Personally I canceled my subscription yesterday and will not play this game anymore until they either stop with the micro-transactions or make the game free to play.

@Interitus lol good point. "Quick, everyone must rush to Iceland for an emergency meeting! Be sure to bring your SWAT gear as you'll have to infiltrate CCP to get to the meeting!"

Couple folks here wanted me to clarify what i saw in the video so i will clarify.

One looks at the video of the two conversing with each other over the uncut peanut butter and jelly sandwich sitting between them, i would do a voiceover with this premise and show folks just how it all makes sense, but too many kids would state they hate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, even if the crust was cut off, hence the EVE drama comparison.

Those two in the video are well, pathetic, the one kid, yes kid, is disrepectfull and sarcastic in the subtle way i am sure was planned by he and his compatriates, note the many smirks and subtle glances to the camera.

The EVE dev looks like a whipped puppy and responds like one, what a choice to pick these people to show an intelligent, thoughtful conversation between EVE's best subscription rep and EVE's best dev rep, sad. They couldnt even get the talking points they discussed before hand down correctly as the kid was too busy trying to adlib.

The developer SHOULD have had control the entire time, instead the snarky kid had the focus and direction of the video, and no one behind the camera corrected this, maybe in the world of people that do not give a rats ass what happens to a game this behaviour happens but i am loathe to witness it, and find it unbelievable the video was released in the first place.

Still i am quite certain the majority of EVE players only saw brilliance on the part of the kid tell the developer how things will be.....(laughs, patheic)

I agree with Grail440 to a degree. The mittanal guy was extremely annoying and distracted form the whole purpose of the video. He, and the CSM in general, bring nothing to the table. After reading the logs from their meeting, its clear, they are just as disconnected form the actual playerbase as CCP is.

CCP continues to lie, contradict themselves, dig the hole deeper, and do so with some false sense of impunity. They really act like mmorpg's never loose massive amounts of subs overnight.

Despite the issues with EVE and the whole fiasco that ensued over Incarna, CCP has yet to realize just how much they have tainted their name, their company, their street cred with players.

All of their snarky, overdone, antics, are falling to the way side. The playerbase is starting to see what, and who, is really behind the curtain.
