Nerf the KV's derp gun. 900 damage, 90 penetration, on HE round is ridiculous. Particularly the penetration, as most other derp guns have lower penetration.

@Tezcatli I'd gamble that most of the targets the KV faces when paired above it's tier have greater than 90 armor.

@Tezcatli It's 910 / 86 and only with the P2W gold ammo, and the way everybody I know goes through ammo in WoT that's not really an accurate figure over time. You'd have to be insane to use that ammo for every shot, in every game. It's just too expensive.

More like 700/110 for the AP. That's right, the massive damage shell has a much lower penetration value. Who said the Belarusian's don't know anything about balance? :D

And I second, Yay! American DTs and new maps!

I seriously cannot *wait* for that new airplane game they are working on. That's going to be awesome.

The KV derp gun isn't overpowered. It's reload rate is ridiculous (the hetzer also has a gun that can blow away most, if not all, tanks of its tier and even some above it, yet it reloads 3 or maybe 4 times as fast), the spin of the turret is slow, if manageable, and the accuracy is abysmal at longer ranges. For a gun that requires you to aim carefully lest you miss a shot and be weaponless for about 20 seconds, and one that is easily circled if no support is present, it HAS to be one hit when it comes to smaller tanks. The problem is that the KV was until recently the only heavy tank in T5, and even now outperforms the american heavy. It has more to do with lower - tiered players not knowing how to deal with heavies (pin down and take potshots, as well as bombard, not face head-on) and charging straight at the KV.

Also, why does nobody ever mention the T7 KV gun? That thing does almost as much damage as the derp (in the respect that it oneshots small tanks, even though it doesn't kill lights just by hitting nearby ground), except it shoots much faster, and has range for a change. It also tends to have higher penetration too. I feel that some players who complain about it haven't really played the tank.

The KV tank will be turned into the KV-1 and KV-2 and then KV-3 moved one tier down. That shoul fix the problem with the OP KV tank.

Good to hear about the patch!

I've not personally played this. But a friend told me they introduced the french tanks before the British ones...? Really?

@Zethe
They haven't introduced either French or British tanks and there is no official timeline that I'm aware of for either. However, we do have a map of the future French tech tree and to my knowledge there is no such map for British tanks.

As to your "really," so? Try the game. It's quite fun.

@Zethe

There are currently several premium tanks that are British and French in origin, however neither tank tree has been added yet though both are planned.

Then this is just misinformation on my part.

The "Really" part was nothing aginst the game itself rather due to the fact that i thought french tanks were introduced first and that the french spent most of the time during that war not using said tanks.

I would have thought that considering that the German and British were the only two to be fighting from start to finish of that war they would be the first tanks to be introduced(although i know the British used a lot of American tanks due to the lend-lease).

Guess we won't be seeing you around. Luckily there are plenty of other people to play with.

Blix raises a fair point, premium - only platoons IS a retarded restriction. Especially when you are labeling the game as an MMO.

@blix2006

Firstly, premium costs a very reasonable $10 a month. You will find that it offers great benefits due to the 150% increase in XP and credits.

Secondly you do not need to have premium to play with friends, ONE of you does. And frankly if between you and your friends you can't afford to spend $10 to play together, you are probably not the kind of customer this game is looking for.

The F2P aspect is there to allow you to try the core gameplay, if you want more advanced features like voice comms then you should pony up.
