As a big company, CCP does not have one voice; not internally, at least. As such, it is understandable that they not always trust in the CSM in the same fashion. I can somewhat understand this. Also we need to acknowledge that there is no such thing as the CSM anywhere else in the gaming industry. I am trying to understand reservations. I am trying to understand how another outrage had to occur -- after the summer of rage last year -- before CCP talks to the CSM, the ghost that they summoned.

But regardless why it took so long. The community made it happen. Now we will see what CCP makes of the opportunity to again match up their plans against player opinion : how good will they sell us vanity or not-so-quite-just-barely-vanity items ? The answer is obviously not going to be "no non-vanity MT evvvar".

We all have drawn our line in the sand which marks the end of our trust in EVE -- the end of the subscription. The game over. Let's see where CCP stands. Let's see what players then do...

You've heard the phrase "Don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs"? That comes from a fable written around 2600 years ago.

It means, don't let greed destroy what's made you wealthy.

CCP has forgotten one of the oldest lessons in Western history.
