Three Faction PvP? If this is anything half as good as DAoC was back in its early days, I'm totally there.

Was playing DAoC when Sanya was leading the Herald. Always plenty of information flowing.

@Arsinek
The graphics are on par with newer MMO's if you go look at their screenshots. The art style, which is what I think you were actually referring to, does look very unappealing. I mean the energy vein dudes just look corny. The beast dudes don't look really menacing either. Hopefully the concept art doesn't do them justice and they look better in-game.

I guess we can start hearing from PitchBlack Games how bugs are the game's "features working as intended".

Aha! So THAT'S where Tithus (of EnMasse) went!

Tempted to lurk on the forums just for her. (No, that's totally not creepy or stalkerish - it's the internet, you see, and, uh.... yeah, I'll stop trying now.)

Interesting ...I had heard that Tweety had opened her mouth one time too many to ever get a job in the industry again, of course it is a small dev and not a AAA devloper.

She is great as a CSM...but apparently she has issues getting along with co-workers.

Small companies can turn into big companies. By being in on the ground floor, you have much better opportunity to set yourself up within the company and not have to kiss but in an already established bigger company.

Besides, getting the chance to get in on a new three faction PvP game when no one else is even thinking of one is a damn good opportunity.

That game will probably have a huge sub rate even if it is just average PvP with decent objectives, because most of these other games have below average PvP with no objections.

Rift comes to mind...

What is considered "AAA", it's not the company that defines it, it's the product and it's quality that does.

If everything in their FAQ and their description of the game holds to be true, it'll have more features than most of the current MMORPGs. They're bring back core features that players have been asking for years to get that other games haven't. Most other games have stuck to the "tried and true" decade old formula of Two Factions, PvE raid focus, and GoodvsEvil plot story.

Prime is going with Three Factions, PvP focus, and a plot story involving dispute over material goods control. There's no Good or Evil, only those who have and those who have not.

Oh, and Bounty system, how many times have people asked for this outside of EVE Online? Everyone and their mother thought it would be in SW:TOR when they announced the Bounty Hunter class, only to be severely disappointed to find that they're just written into the game's story as "all hired for the Empire" with no choice of doing any real bounty hunting.

So far, all the "AAA" games have been, are the same ol' stuff with different skins. No, we need something more, and Prime is bringing that (hopefully). Oh, and don't BS with that "but GW2 will have X" stuff, I haven't seen anything spectacular with it at all

I'm still not sure about this company. I was invited to thier "Beta" Months ago, never could get past a C++ Runtime crash, took three weeks to get a reply from them on that. Now I can't log into the game client (unable to establish connection) whereas before I could at least get to the server selction menu before it crashed. Hell I'm not even sure the Pitch Black games Beta client is the same one as the Prime Client.
A lil more organization and coherent structure would serve them well IMO.
