Great article. Of note is the part in which the subject states devs not listening to input that was asked for at his level and the lack of interest by some (those) devs on that feedback. Guy needs to keep up the great work and force the changes that will improve gaming since he is in a great position to do so.

Not a bad viewpoint. I've always been curious about "the Syndicate" and it's members since EQ1 (and I think UO?) and their inner viewpoints/stances on things, because I only tend to hear "they were the first guild that did such-n-such raid" and not much else. Plus the name is a bit "mafioso", but it's nice to see a few of my views changed. I don't know if they "grew" or not, because I was not there with them, but it is nice to see they are a mature group at this point (and maybe always have been?).

I've seen Stalzer's posts and new bog at MMORPG.com, and personally, Ms. Bryan does better. Stalzer's pride comes across more than anything else, while I feel Bryan does exactly what a community oriented guild leader should: explain the intricacies of a situation needed for success. Maybe that's why Stalzer's title is "CEO/President" and his writing comes out as glorified advertising.

There's an Egyptian saying (that I'm going to modify to be gender neutral ;P ): "There's only 2 people in the world that want you to do better than they have; your parents and your teachers."

Ms. Bryan's usual column feels more like something a good teacher produces ;P
