I didn't know it until I was presented with the possibility of an alternative, but after 10+ years of quests & holy trinity-based class systems I am really, really ready for something other than KTR, FED Ex, and tank, healer, dps.

Now the thought of returning to a quest based, holy trinity based game just doesn't seem that appealing at all.

I will probably check out some of the class stories in TOR, but it will only be marking time (treading water) until GW2 is released (if that is in fact the order they come out in) and once I have access to GW2 it will monopolize my gaming time pretty much completely.

Man I wanted to come join the massively village in Wurm, but my account is stuck in limbo between the payed server and the free D:

Apparently not even the GMs can move me across servers so even though I bought time before I guess I can't play for free anymore. :|

Maybe I'll make a new character eventually but Wurm is a nice game, but not quite nice enough for me to throw all my work away to play again. Or pay 15$ for 2 months that I'm not sure I'll actually use. (Especially when my skills will probably take that long to get to 30 anyway!)

I liked the E-mail this week. I actually wanted to write in to Rubi asking why she mentioned it in TOR but Rift had the boring quest syndrome the hardest I've seen in awhile, and she says she enjoys it. So good on you, Ray! Did we ever have to kill 20 darkspawn in DA? Or 50 whatevers in Mass Effect? Why do we have to when we toggle our RPG swith to "Online"
