I have been on break from Eve. Aren't we getting the captain quarters first? And the rest of the stations later this year?

@Lateris Yes, captains quarters in the first part of Incarna, then more coming as they become ready.

Incarna is the single piece missing from making EVE an epic game.
Flying a spaceship can only bring immersion so far. Being an actual person flying a spaceship, meeting other actual people outside of spaceships is what I've wanted for EVE for so long!

I never had a problem with immersion in EVE.. Plenty to do and very nice people to play with.

The last thing we need is yet another reason for keeping people docked.

That's good for you. Me, I'm still flesh and blood, y'know, not a vessel made out of millions of tons of tritanium...

And wtf is wrong with people who like to play the game docked? Seriously. Elitist tripe. If I want to sit in a station and play the market all day I CAN DO THAT and you can't do a thing about that. Should they discourage people from playing the market so they undock more often? Psh!

Expanding New Eden wouldn't be so bad if they weren't doing it with cash-gated content and a shooter no one will buy.

"Cash-gated content" is rather misleading when the only items on sale are vanity items. When I think of "content" I think of stuff that has actual gameplay ramifications, not monocles and fancy shirts.

And these vanity items are able to be put on sale on the market and purchased for ISK from other players on top of that....

First, adding a incarna isn't a play style, it's a waste of time. Second, not liking something doesn't make me an elitist, it makes me a customer who has chosen not to play the game anymore.

I will be happy with the better fonts, if and when they happen. Tired of using my magnifying glass to read figures.

I think that's what the video is all about. They noticed that many people are unhappy with the lack of new content along with the neglect they feel for not seeing any real improvements on existing mechanics.

I'm 100% for fixing broken stuff. That's what I always thought EVE really needed.

@smg77 Its going to be lame because from what I gather theres no reason to leave your ship. If there was a point to getting out of your ship then it would be cool.

More of the same, huh? Armchair quarterbacking from the professional played-for-an-hour-didn't-like-it contingent, and a little something something from the experts from the never-played-eve club.

IMO Incarna isn't going to radically change the way i play the game, but it'll augment immersion for a large portion of the playerbase.Eventually, there will be no doubt be many, many 'points' to getting out of your ship, and even now you can see pretty clearly from the CCP videos that it'll bring some utility to the average pilot.
