Flying under my own power, whether it's as a CoH superhero or a WoW druid.

Flying in a Yalm in Anarchy Online.

And if running, having on a Levitation spell, like in Everquest.

My favorite mode of travel is on horseback. To be specific War's mount of the four horsemen. Eat it famine (no pun intended), im riding with War!

An Attack helicopter. But those have yet to exist in the MMO format (not even in Planetside from what I remember).

My favorites are Superjump from CoX, a motorcycle in Fallen Earth, and my mechanical horse in Rift.

Truthfully, just about all the standard travel options in CoX are really fun Superspeed, teleportatoin, and flight all have their charms. On my very first character I got Hover, and tried to chase down the blimp in Atlas Park -- first MMO ever, as far as I know, that would allow vertical travel like that. Hell, I even thought it was neat to board a helicopter, ferry or train. Also, I loved how kinetics defenders could grant superspeed to their teammates.

The one I miss the most, my all-time favorite, was the subway system in Neocron. It was like the flight paths in WoW, only it felt more immersive, and it was much faster. Think "Deeprun Tram" only cooler looking, quicker, and with more stops.

My second favorite is the Raptor Pack jetpack power in City of Heroes. When they made that something you could have permanently, instead of just during specific missions or in PvP zones, I was relieved and delighted.

My third favorite isn't, technically, a travel option, but I have to include it anyway: the Bravo Company Siege Tank in the quest Redridge Mountains quest "AHHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHH!!!" in WoW.

EverQuest- After all these years still my main, and best travel mode is a wizard. Ports, evacs, and Nethersteps with a fast mount...the only thing I can’t do is Call of the Hero.

Star Wars Galaxies- Groundside; for short range and agile travel, I love my STAP-1. If the trip’s a bit longer, my Lava Skiff (yes, they got lots of other places than Mustafar). And if I need speed and some protection, I drag out the AT-RT.

Spaceside; as a Reb there’s no more versatile and deadly way to get across a distant galaxy than the Advanced X-wing. If I want something more specialized, my ARC-170 or Y-wing…but if I want a nice lounge to kick back and AFK while lurking in an asteroid belt, my YKL-37R Nova Courier is the place to be.

DCUO; Acrobatics by FAR the best travel power. Solid ground speed, able to scale a tall building in….a few good bounds at least (or grappling lines), and with the right powers slotted, limited flight as well.

City of Heroes; Ninja Run from the Martial Arts pack plus an occasional 10K to have a fresh Raptor Pack means no real need to slot a true travel power; the setup can get you just about anywhere. If I must go with a travel power, Flight, Super Jump and Teleport I all favor- it just comes down to the build of the character and how I plan to use it.

Age of Conan, while someone will no doubt mention one fast mount or another, my barbarian slotted with lots of Hide and Skulk points is worth her weight in gold.

The gliding in Aion!

I didn't really like the xyz flying in that game, but my god gliding was fun.

I also liked the double jumping in Perfect World.
