Paid 50$ for this game once. Not gonna spend more money now so I can get more than 3 layers for customization lol it's a joke.

@Chapstarr the subscription fee is $10 dollars right now with 7(i think?) renewal. so you are paying less then if you already had the game still and were subscribing to the old model.

@(Unverified) Well, and that sub fee is optional. I paid 50 bucks for it, too...but that was a different company.

It's so fun, I can play it for hours or until my wrists fall off. lol

Customization is not king when overshadowed by Lord Lackluster Gameplay.

But hey, it is f2p...

@Ryukan F2P is synonymous with lackluster gameplay? Vindictus has been lying to me!

anyone know if/how they took care of all the aiming hacks/wall hacks etc?
I know it's a different company and all, but the game is still built on the Unreal III engine which has historical issues with the hacks. Much bigger companies have had longer than 6 months to solve that problem...

@HiroProtagonist7

There are hackers around, but not as rampant, at least I haven't seen many lately. We have yet to see if Gamersfirst will take a solid stance against them as they claim they will, or ignore them entirely - a practice they've adopted in some of their games, according to some players.

@HiroProtagonist7 I've only gone up against one person I was actually suspicious about. I've gone up against plenty of people who were obviously better, but I felt it was their skills and weapons, not because they were cheating.

@kasapina and DeadlyAccurate

That's cool. I loved that game - I quit shortly before they shutdown because of the aimbots, etc. Not that I was awesome and everyone else was an aimbotter, but there were actual subscription sites for the hacks and there wasn't a response at all from the company. If you got beaten really badly you just never knew.

I won't even go into how sad it is to pay a sub to pretend your avatar is elite in a pretend world... especially for a game without a sub.

It's always funny to see that when you give players incredible creative tools, they squander it by doing nothing but aping existing characters and memes.

Nonetheless, I wish other games would investigate this level of customization. The APB vehicles are looking remarkable.

You misinterpret my statement copmpletly.I'mreferring to this game in particular, not all f2p games. Please don't assume I am generaliziing unless I actually genrealize.

And I found Vindictus to be fun...for a week or so.
