4.9 million of them logged on, played for 5 minutes, and quit, never to return

lol I love this game. I was very impressed by it for being free to play, its tons of fun.

I also own the newest Hot Pursuit and Shift 2 or i would play this one more.

one of those registered users...played it a while, and the driving was fun, good races, a fan of the layout. but stopped playing when i couldn't shake the feeling that most of the time it's more boxing than racing.

playing at weird hours of the night was great, grouping with people that wanted to race and not have a car mosh pit was kind of the only thing that made the game good for me.

idk, there were 1-2 powerups that kinda ruined the game for me.

This is on my current list of favorites, it's just so easy to jump in and run a few races or a pursuit or two and jump out again. Certainly one of the best looking free titles out there and the progression as you level is just about perfect.

The thing I don't like about the recent patch is that it used to be when purchasing a visual package (with in-game money) the lowering kit was included in the price. The new way does not include the lowering kit, which is now only available for real world cash. Luckily previous purchases are grandfathered in, but I was holding off on a pack for one of my cars that I now wish I'd bought when it included the lowering kit, so a big thumbs-down on that change!
