I'm getting a slight Guilty Gear vibe from the video, which is never a bad thing. Not the gameplay at all, just some aesthetic stuff.

For the gameplay it feels and plays like a VERY improved and more fast-paced version of lunia.

You have the main town(s) where you get quests and see other players and etc. Then you have dungeons/stages/arenas. Stages/Dungeons are pretty much how you imagine action game to look with a boss in the end. First dungeons are quite easy, with you beating up a simple-attack enemies, but latter on there are flying, spec-ability, mini-boss and ranged enemies added to dungeons. Some of latter game bosses are VERY hard(for example the crab/scorpion thing in water level who can take down half of your life with successful attack and occasionally destroys the platforms you can stand on) and if I remember correctly every stage/dungeon has different difficulty modes available.

If anyone played Nexon''s DFO, then this is HARDER and 3d version of that.

@Kitanishi

Oh and also, some levels have environmental traps - your usual platformer stuff like pits, chainsaws, falling floor and so on.

Interesting. This game would definitely be on my radar, had Nexon not announced DFO is removing it's Fatigue system. We'll see how the game unfurls though

I'm curious to know if you guys at Massively will start covering more of Perfect World's MMOs. Now that they bought Cryptic, they'll technically own STO and CO, and also the future Neverwinter and Torchlight MMOs (they own Runic Games too).

They seem to be an interesting company and I'd love to read more about them from the perspective of your columnists. I'm sure Beau plays some of them, as do others. Wouldn't it be worth having a dedicated feed/tag so games like Perfect World, Jade Dynasty, Ether Saga Online and especially Forsaken World (which was mainly designed for the West) could get regular coverage too?

lol That is a damn good video.

Im sad to know that all these games are never as good as their trailers.

Cant wait to play it tho. I loved Dungeon Fighter and similar games like Battletoads and Ninja Turtles, Streets of Rage, all that jazz.

The animated trailer part looks like some western weaboo kid has drawn it... so much clichee "westerna animay" stile in an official trailer of an Korean MMO? Did the western publisher subdivision create it for the western audience by any chance and hired some random western hobby artist?
