If you've been considering a walk down Aion's darker path, there's never been a better time. NCsoft's newest web announcement outlines the perks for rolling an Asmodian avatar on all but one of the servers scheduled to undergo the faction incentive program. Benefits include XP amulets, Gateway Getaway events that permit fortress instance entry regardless of the controlling faction, and siege bonuses composed of additional medals.
Asmodian players on the North American Zikel and Siel servers are eligible for the bonuses. Across the pond, Asmos are receiving assistance on Spatalos, Telemachus, Thor, and Urtem, while Elyos players on the Perento shard can look forward to a fort siege incentive.

This actually makes me want to come back to Aion. I do want to check out what is new. I played at release and haven't since.
Too bad I'm playing Rift right now.

I keep meaning to play Aion again, since I'm between MMOs, and Aion was really the last big MMO (besides WoW) that ever captured my attention. I'm just not sure I want to start totally fresh, and I totally forget what my Spiritmaster was in the process of doing when I quit.

Terribad move. First they make like 10 lvl 50 worldbosses exclusively on elyos maps (asmodians: 0, that's right, ZERO), some of which dropped the best weapons in the entire game, and now they wonder why they lack asmodians?
Asian game developers are only good for the graphics, never let these guys come near anything that has to do with game mechanics/balance if you want to have any success on western markets.
