I first played Hellgate: London a week after a real-life trip to the land of double-decker buses and castles and tea. Look at me, I'm in the London Underground! Look at me, I'm in the British Museum! Look at me, I'm level 30 with a terrible build I can't respec and all the levels look the same! Still, it was inevitable that as soon as the game went offline, I wished I'd played it more.
Fortunately, this week we learned that the game's current caretakers in Korea, HanbitSoft and T3Fun, are bringing Hellgate back to the West for another try. In fact, signups for the June 3rd closed beta have already begun, and we're still giving freebie keys out to lucky readers.
Look at me, I'm clicking past the cut to check out this week's other top MMO stories!
