@Vistrix

Probably just those who's info was stole. Which, since I now have 45 days free access now to old subs on two different accounts, means I was indeed compromised even though Sony never sent me even one of those "you were hacked" e-mails.

This is old. The holes mentioned in the article were fixed. Reuters gave Sony time to plug them before they published the article. This is standard with the media so they don't burn themselves on any future stories.

Huh. I only ever played the trial of Star Wars Galaxies, but I got the 45 days of free game time... (noticed that 'cos I figured I should at least change my password for Station) Same goes for the subscription version of EQ2 - only ever played Extended.

@The Ogre Same here, though I did have an EQ2 sub at one time. I hope they don't correct that, if it was in error. I'd love to play with EQ2 again and see how it's been faring.

Its a very confusing time. SOE was having all types of account troubles with the new setup they have going on. I lose my full access to EQ2X and am back down to bronze....which is fine by me b/c that's all I need for my casual soloing.

Hmm. The SWG account (downloaded and installed it) seems to only be a trial (the voice chat interface is saying so), despite the 45 days of time left on it. Seems a bit more reasonable than giving someone who only had a trial full access.

Man, I wish they sold Station Cash cards 'round here so I could play for real. :( [lack of cards for game time 'round here leaves me with CoH, Lineage II, and WoW for subscription games :[
