This image was taken on the first day that wormholes were discovered in EVE. Heading into the unknown was exciting, looking back not knowing if I'd return was chilling. Seeing this when I turned around to venture home gave me a whole new respect for the wild, untamed beauty of EVE.While we're loving sci-fi week, we're also looking forward to what's coming next week! We'll be having a little fun with One Shots beginning Monday: It's bug week! Send a screenshot of the funniest bug, glitch, or blooper you've come across to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. We'll post it out here for everyone to enjoy and then give you the thanks!
Today's One Shots returns us to EVE Online with an eerily beautiful image from Aehric:

DemonXaphan is partly correct. The trick is to not try and learn it. Just focus on skills at first. Ask questions as they come up. Take it slow, before you know it you have tons of skills and plenty of knowledge about how eve works.
Been playing 3 years now and I still learn something new about that game all the time.

Yea. I just started playing Eve. The learning curve isn't that bad. Take it slow when you start. Try out the different career choices (military, industry, exploring, business...) and ask questions when they come up. I've found the community to be one of the most helpful outside of the Guild Wars community.
