There's a new class on the way to Divine Souls, the action combat MMO from Outspark. Next week will see the introduction of the Priest, and this ain't your daddy's healbot. No sir, this Priest is all about offense, and Outspark has given Massively an exclusive look at the whirling dervish as he swings, slashes, and chops his way through hordes of bad guys courtesy of his deadly soul scythe.

Soooo... they made Devil May Cry into an MMO and slapped on Divine Souls as a title? The Japanese must be going wild.

The sword in the name logo, that looks awfully familiar.... different handle, but I almost think it's a copy paste from someone else's design.
God of War maybe?

Um, so... Priest is a male Mage whose main element is lightning (whereas the Mage's main ele is fire). A some of the melee attacks (and his AoE attacks) look SUPER similar to Mage's. I'm not saying it's a direct copy (because it's not), but it's much too familiar to be impressive or exciting, honestly. :/
Ah, well. I guess it's cool for the guys out there who want to play a mage-who-can-melee type of class, but don't want to be a female character.

Looks good. It will be interesting to see how the class does in PvP as that is where Divine Souls truly shines.
