Right is much more important than "right now"... =] Hopefully that is indeed the reason for the change, as opposed something being "so awfully broken that we can't rush it out yet".

With the debacle that was the World Event I'm not surprised that they want to make sure 1.2 goes off without a hitch.

Patches seem extremely quick. Almost a patch a month, not bad.

Too little too late in my book.

Not sure why they thought launching without a LFD tool was a good idea. Plus there is still no API the last I checked.

@PaperSpeaks That's nice, you keep paying them for a broken game.

I've seen enough MMO's to know that it takes quite a while for changes to take place. 2 months down the road and they still don't have a LFD, which should be a standard feature in any MMO that launches.

Standards.. where the hell is it these days?

@PaperSpeaks

Patience went down in flames along with the average IQ and maturity level of MMO enthusiasts ever since WoW started pandering to six year olds :P

@Weiji

Really? You do know that TONS of people hate LFD right?
They wanted to make sure their LFD was exactly how they wanted it because they knew how many players HATE the idea of one.
Should they have delayed the game for it? As for API, that's a botting issue.
If you're looking for parsers, they exist and work fine.

@watchawatch Only the vocal minority has a problem with a LFD tool. Most of them are just baddies who were kicked for sucking.

API has nothing to do with botters. Rift already has botters without an API. Please try again.

I LOVE the way Trion is handling this patch, and the LFD system - kudos Trion!

Yes cause Trion fans just dropped out of the sky and aren't MMO players from other games. No wait, the bulk 70% are from WoW so... But then WoW hold about that of the market share so... Aren't numbers fun =P

WoW has had 1 major patch since Cata launch in Dec? Rift will have had 2 in as many months. No rush, making it good. We don't need the fail that is WoW 4.1 on live.

Probably gonna be delayed even futher. Seems like Trion is trying to hold some subs for the next month but I doubt it will work.

@Drunken Irish Sniper

Or maybe they are satisfied with the state of the game and the steady pace of constant updates the game is receiving.
Madness that gamers are enjoying their game of choice instead of whining like crybabies or the typical MMO troll (that´s you by the way).

I hope they wait until it's correct, bug free and ready for prime time.

The haters here have moved on from hoping Rift fails (it isn't) to trying to convince you it will suck in the future... (it won't).

I can't wait for a few a new MMO's to be released, so these self-appointed game haters can move on to greener pastures, new devs to insult, new content to hold in contempt, a new game to embarrass themselves in the forums and blogs.

Rift has stood up to them, the hate comments have become desperate in vain attempts at undermining the player base, the Rift hate movement has all but died, only kept alive by those who's lives are so bad it can only be comforted by heaping misery and doom on others.
