If you're feeling a little beside yourself these days, Prius Online is right there with you. The vibrant anime MMO that features the ability to play three characters at once has finally entered the closed beta stage today.
It's a big day for publisher gPotato, which transported Prius Online over from Korea for the North American audiences as a premier free-to-play title. Closed beta testing will take place from April 28th through May 8th and includes six classes that can be played up to level 25. Prius Online promises a special experience as your character travels with two steadfast companions, forging a permanent party of sorts.
Both FilePlanet and Big Download have the beta client available to snag right away. To celebrate this special period of the game's development cycle, Prius Online is holding several in-game contests, such as a race to the level cap, and is handing out rewards to all beta testers. Catch up on this title with our overview from GDC!

I hope they get the brakes fixed before release.
(Sorry, couldn't help myself)

What? They named an MMO after my car? Where are my royalties?!?

The game is pretty fun so far I must admit, But the horribly voice acted "cut scenes" that you can't skip (at least, not so far) really take it down a notch or two. Plus, I have the game maxed out, everything is on etc, but the game doesn't look anywhere near as good as the screens here or any place else I've seen the game...wth?

This game is a fail! Terrible graphics, terrible voice acting, terrible cinematic, terrible game-play, terrible animation, terrible customization... how many terrible do you need?

@deathsp4nk Agreed. You get a taste of the higher lvl gameplay (if you want to call it that) with the opening prologue/tutorial and its a buggy mess from then on out. Unclear story line, (apparently you really died for reals, but then got res'd, huh?). Go talk to this oracle, she says hi, ok talk to this boss looking guy, he says welcome to the village, now go kill phantom onions and jellyfish on land. Don't bother running anywhere, we put a waypoint every 5 feet.
Meh.

Three year old F2P Eastern game re-released for the West, basically it's what I expected. I wanted to check it out back when it was first announced for Korea and now that I have I can honestly say I would have enjoyed it back then but now not so much.
I will say I prefer it over Aika even though Prius Online is an older title.

Nonsensical plot: check
Atrocious voice-acting: check
Typos-galore: check
Gender-locked classes: check
Beastmen: check
Lollies: check
Bouncing boobs, ass-cleavage and vapid expressions: check, check, check
Looks like we have a contender.

I have gotten a Femina character to level 10 and gotten my Anima. Thus far the game has been hilarious. The NPC voice acting, appearance and dialogue are to me delightful. The Femina starting area is a gas. It packed more humor into 10 levels than I have seen in any other MMO.
The graphics are dated but I can live with that. Bear in mind that this is a CBT. It is a cooperative bug hunt. Ignore the obvious trollish comments furnished by others above. They haven't played enough of the game to evaluate it.
And, by the way, the boobs don't bounce and Feminas are playful airheads. That's the way they are supposed to be.

The boobs definitely sway with the best of 'em, not that I necessarily have a problem with that, but it is funny in a predictable sort of way.
On a side note, I think the game models look pretty good, but the environments are almost jarringly bad in comparison.

@faralorn Yeah because when people point out glaring flaws in a game, they are trolls. Enjoy your mediocre grindfest.

I just look past the typos and all the bad stuff, it is beta, it can be polished. I think the overall vision of the game is very beautiful. And the music? nice!

As you level up the story gets more interesting and you encounter aspects of the game that are unique to it. It has the capacity to surprise you and many of the quests are enriched by interesting little stories. This is a very promising game.
The various races have their own starting areas and their settlements have distinctive looks and ambiance. This will make replay less of an ordeal than it is in many games.
The biggest problem so far is a very quick and dirty English localization done with translation software. ASCII graphic characters appear everywhere you would expect to see periods, apostrophes, question marks and the like. Some of the translations are awkward and need to be fixed.
The only design flaw I have encountered is poor integration between map and quest interfaces. This was a problem as well in vanilla WoW until addon writers fixed the problem and Blizzard later followed suit.
This is not an AAA subscription game designed to provide you with a virtual second life and shouldn't be compared to those games. It is a very creative and innovative f2p game that is, in my opinion, much more entertaining than games like Allods, Jade Dynasty, Perfect World and the like.
