Good to see all the starting zones are going to be totally different from each other. And finally cleared up what the Charr actually eat. The poor cows...

Going to be an annoyingly overplayed class, but as always, the art is amazing.

@Apakal

I think you meant overplayed race. But honestly I think the race population will be fairly balanced out.

Every race can be every class. Mesmer is very likely to come back.

He probably means Theme Park. I had the same reaction but surprisingly people aren't going nuts about it

Can we please ban ArenaNet from using the words 'iterate' or 'iterative' any more. I'm getting a bit annoyed at every update and interview from them about their iterative process and how many times they have to do stuff over. Okay, we get it, you've had to redesign a lot of stuff to improve it, over and over. But you know, that is the case with most things, not just designing GW2. Every software project I've ever been involved with went through that same process. It is normal. I seriously doubt many games just went with the first basic designs they came up with, it just doesn't work that way.

So please cut the hype and just explain how the design changed over time without hitting us repeatedly over the head in almost every single bit of information you release about your amazing iterative process, that most other companies use as well.

@Yarr You have to cut them some slack. ArenaNet at the end of the day is after profit, no matter how passionate it's workers are. If their marketing team said keep bringing up a strong point of our development progress, then there gonna do it, regardless of how relevant that information is.

I realize that, but I wonder if the marketing people realize that after awhile it becomes counterproductive to keep hammering away at the same thing, over and over (and over). Probably not, from the ones I've known.

It is almost to the point of me seeing how many marketing bullet points each release mentions instead of actual new game information. When that starts happening someone needs to let off on things a bit, IMO.

Looking good... dunno if I'll actually roll up a charr anything, if I do.. ranger will probably be about it, but I have to respect the way the race has been portrayed in the lore.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Hopefully it will. Small polls on guildwars2guru.com showed more lop-sided tendencies, but the polls weren't nearly large enough to be indicative of the potential player base.
