How's FE doing these days? Seems like a cool game, hot to trot?

Imo one of the best MMOs around, if you like crafting, a more zen-like gaming and a grown-up community. It's the Bob Marley of MMOs. :D

I really don't know why people acclaim FE's crafting so highly. It's actually quite shitty. You have the ingredients for a completely static recipe and then you push a button.

Whoa, innovative! But I guess you get to, like, do other stuff while the queue processes.

Great... what a huge leap forward.

@Cavadus it's more than that, it's the way you get materials and the feel of the crafting system, the fact that it is important and helps. Its something "real" and useful. Not like wow where it's a boring grind just so you can craft 3-4 BoP recepies and sell 1 / 2 ingots of some sort.

Nope, it's really not more than that. And FE's crafting system is a completely boring grind.

The next thing you're going to tell me is that clicking on junk piles on the ground is uber fun,

FE's crafting is horrible. It's level based, complete static and linear, and offers no variation or customization of any kind.

It's as barebones and generic as MMO crafting can possibly be.
