@Rayko when did Rift invent skill trees? As from my experience Rift was the first MMO with skill trees. Neither was WoW.

3 talent trees?
When some company will dare to try I don't know... 2... or even 4?

@Sephirah Seems you only get access to 2 talent trees on any class, the third is always locked so it is actually 2.

@FrostPaw
Actually, each class has 5 skill trees, 2 per Advanced Class, and one shared between them (it says so in the update).

When you reach level 10 or so, you pick which Advanced Class you want (it'll be very very clear which one, you won't be able to "slip-up" when you choose) and then you will lock yourself out of the 2 skill trees that are dedicated to the other Advanced Class.

So, a Jedi Consular has two Advanced Classes, the Sage and the Shadow.

Sage:
-Ranged damage tree
-Healing tree

Shared tree

Shadow
-Close/mid range damage tree
-Tanking tree

Make sense?
They did mention that you will be able to "respec" your skill trees, but you can't switch Advanced Classes. (at least just yet)

Nope. Feral can tank or dps, but the tree is one.

@Sephirah

Sounds like someone has never played a druid:you can't build a spec in Feral that is both tankworthy and DPS worthy. There are talents enough in there for both, a stealth fourth tree.

Way to go Bioware, stealing from World of Warcraft.

I know it's an MMO, and similarities will be the nature of the beast. But this is so apparently a rip-off from the elephant in the room - I mean what the crap.

My first thought on seeing the screencap: World of Warcraft IN SPACE.

What the crap Bioware, you guys used to be cool.
