I've never tried this, but I'm all for power-levelling alts. I may have to check it out.

What I did, though, was form a normal party with one of my friend's alts and take him into Ravenfell and then just start killing mobs. He got to 15/15 in an hour or two (using the xp fruit when he got up to 9).

You can power-level the old-fashioned way, but only to a point. There's that cut-off I mention in the article that will not let a high-level player take someone that is too low-level into an area to try and get XP from really high-level mobs.

You sure can take them through areas they would normally go through, and get them through it much faster, or take them through mobs that are higher than them, but not too high.

I've seen many players say they have a tough time leveling, or it is taking them too long to level in Runes of Magic. Really, though, leveling in RoM is pretty fast and easy -- all around -- once you start getting into groups and learning more of the game.

It's at the higher levels -- maybe around 50+ -- that leveling slows down appreciably.

Best place to powerlevel alts is Bloody Gallery The respawn rates are very fast and you only need a level 30 character too run completely through it just do it either early in the morning or later at night remember its not a instance its a dungeon. level 1-25/20 in a couple hours or less.

@DrKillShot Thanks for the comment! Is Bloody Gallery still only at specific times each day?

The article is incorrect.

A level 10 would get XP just the same as if they were in a lower level area if PL-ed by a higher leveled character.

A level 62 player can power level a level 1 character with no loss of XP to the lower level character.

It is common practice for endgame players to mass portal their alts to the highest level PL spot they personally can farm.

A level 62 can power level roughly 4 alts to level 10 at once by killing maybe 4-5 level 62 mobs for them. I myself did this this morning.

Furthermore, it is entirely possible to level an alt in such a manner up to level 62. Though the time commitment would be heavy after about level 40. Yet endgamers actually do this as well commonly.

The best place to level alts is the very highest area of elites your main can farm.

Alts power leveled via the elite worms for example, ding level 8 in 1 kill of the elite worm. which is a trivial kill to any player in limo desert.

Previously, the naga elites in Weeping Coast, Autolia Volcano and pirates in Ravenfell were the best PLing spots @ their respective level caps.

As an example.

Power Levelling an ALT -
Do siege, win. Give alt 10k XP orb. That gets you to level 11 (after you do the first few human quests to get the 1 day horse, ride to Logar, get the orb from mail, and kill 9 wolves). Transport Portal to Someplace nice like the cliff above the Zurhidan Investigation team in AV. Kill them as fast/if not faster than they can respawn.

Other locations for Power Levelling include the loads of places you can park an ALT without agroing anything and still get XP (Limon has the best spot, but its usually camped). The Entry to ZS and HoDL work OK, and people appreciate you clearing out the mobs for them as well.

Note: you can skip the XP orb if you want, this is usually just used to powerlevel to make CHARGE ALTS.
