Original preorder beta for Mortal Online.
It took me 3 months to ever get to a log in screen because of how crappy the client was designed and the patches were always corrupted from downloading from the client. So after numerous tries on numerous occasions of torrenting the patches with vuze, I finally saw a log in screen, took me around 3 months? Granted it was beta, but that's the worst beta I've been in.

We are all "mad" just for playing MMOs, didn't you know?

One other thing that drove me mad was Tabula Rasa. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the game... I even suffered through a SERIOUSLY broken zone because I loved it that much. I admit that it was an unhealthy love... but still. The bugs in the game, the broken zones, the hube content gap at high levels... IF I wasn't having so much fun with everything else in the game, I would have dropped it like a hot potato.

It's like you know its frustrating and maddening, but at the same time, you want to keep on playing it. Eventually I just had to quit, and hoped that in a few months things would get much better.

When I was playing it, there were times when I would literally be pulilng my hair out. I remember trying to run some broken instance several times, and kept having to reset it and try again, not because we wiped, but because some quest or npc in it got bugged.

TR veterans may tell tons of stories about how great the game was. And that's completely true. But at the same time, it was also a total disaster. So remember that the next time someone says that TR ought never to have been shut down.
