I was a FireFox user for years, then switched to Chrome. I recently found a new browser that no one has mentioned so far. Pale Moon looks exactly like Firefox, but Firefox was originally a Linux piece. Pale Moon is basically Firefox retooled for Windows. It's much quicker I feel than FireFox and looks exactly the same.

Chrome - because it's the fastest, most stable and I like the fact it synchs my bookmarks/favourites so effortlessly between the multiple computers I use it on. I find Chrome noticeably faster at opening pages than Firefox and IE (the other browsers I have installed).

I don't use many extensions/plug-ins (Ad-Blocker, Google Translate and IE Tab are the only ones) otherwise I'd probably prefer Firefox, but if you want a browser for fast, easy hassle-free browsing then you can't really go wrong with Chrome.

When I run into the occasional website that won't display on Chrome correctly (not many) I have Firefox as my back-up, but it takes some real arm-twisting to get me to use the awful IE - basically its only Microsoft sites that seem to insist on IE use for certain features - other sites that only want you to use IE to browse them can easily be fooled by using IE Tab in Chrome, which is far more preferable to me than using the terrible IE.
