Black Prophecy entered North American closed beta testing Wednesday, and we hinted that we just might have some closed beta keys to share with our readers.
As it happens, we were telling the truth! We do have a few closed beta keys -- in fact, we have several thousand. Visit our giveaway page to pick yours up, then go to the Black Prophecy site to register. Follow the registration instructions, verify your email, then check your email again for a download link. Once your account is active in Gamigo's account system, visit the Pilot Licensing Terminal (aka. beta page) to enter your beta key.
The final step is the easiest: Enjoy the Black Prophecy closed beta!

Wow this sucks, I get "We're sorry, but the maxiumum number of codes have been retrieved for your I.P. Address" but I have not clicked for this till now..... :(
I guess I won't be getting a key.

your not missing much, its a fairly dull shooter type game. bland story, poor visuals, bad camera angles and a big lack of compelling gameplay aspects. its basically a browser game without the browser.

This the same guy that said the camera was locked behind the ship? Having actually been in the beta, I can say there is nothing wrong with the camer angles with any of the 3 different views you have. And the visuals are probably one of the best things about the game.
Can't defend the story, but I will say in their latest video I saw cutscenes that I hadn't before and I'd bet those are for story segments later in the game.

Massively, I have a bone to pick with you guys...
Why are you all so awesome? You guys take all the awesome, but don't leave any for anyone else!

Thanks, massively! :D Got my code.
Though gamigo's website is hectic to navigate... spent 5 minutes to complete all the account registration just to download the damn client.

@Misterlee All I can say is be patient?
I have no clue what happened but it directed me to the EU version too.
Then there was some strangeness and now its directing me to the US version ....... no clue can't say for sure why.
All I can say is that site is a fickle mistress

I had issues with getting it to take the code at first too, turns out it was my user credentials that were throwing a wrench into the works.
I ended up having to request a new password then login with that, change it and then the registration page accepted everything.

For anyone having issues, OnRPG.com also has keys (900 left at time of posting) but you need to create an account.
