Ether Saga Online has been quiet for a little while, but this spring, the game is gearing up for a major update which includes a brand-new race, the Mogui. Long locked away from the world, the Mogui have broken free of their confinement in the wake of the battle against the forces of Oxen Ultera. The race has two unique classes, and the team at Perfect World Entertainment has decided to start off by previewing the hot-tempered Hellion class first.
Hellions are an aggressive class, wielding twin battleaxes and assaulting enemies through direct attacks and wide-range area abilities. They've also got the ability to improve their damage via sacrificing health. At level 75, a Hellion can upgrade to either a Warlord or Ruiner depending on player choice. We've got several new shots of the Hellion in action (including a distressingly happy dance) in the gallery below, which should keep Ether Saga Online players excited about what's coming with the spring update.

What is this cute little game I'm laying my eyes on for the first time?

@Apakal It' a fun game, but you will be killing a million mobs. The art is fantastic, though. The mounts and stuff look like an animated movie.

You will be killing a million mobs in bot mode :-)
It is a very pretty game though like you said. I have a "nightmare tree mount" on my templar which looks amazing with his 100 dest gear glowing golden.
Few things that annoy me though is the lack of anything meaningful to do at end game. You could say that Territory Wars is meaningful, but that goes into my next annoyance. PvP is horribly horribly imbalanced.
I have a 102 Templar (shaman) in +8 new DS gear blah blah blah and still can get one shot by a 101+ Pyromancer. Even if I have a decent amount of pyra resist.
Still looking forward to the expansion though. Want to try the new caster class out. "Poison Master" for the win?

Increasing damage with lower health worked like garbage for City of Heroes' Blaster class. Good thing they got a revamp.
Hellions, huh? Are they gonna get some Skulls to fight? :p
And bot mode. Why don't they just reduce the grind to something people are willing to play through instead of bot? Oh yeah, it's Asia.
