SEGA announced last week that it will be working with game developer Three Rings to publish Spiral Knights, a new free-to-play title described as "classic, console-style adventuring in a persistent online world."
Things are moving ahead quickly for the title -- fans enjoyed a sneak peek at the game thanks to an open preview event over the weekend. The game is back in closed preview now, but if you want to get a look at it, we've got just the thing for you. The powers that be at Spiral Knights have provided us with a link that will allow 500 Massively readers into the closed previews. Simply click, sign up, and you're ready to dive into the game!
So go get your early access, and keep your eyes peeled for more news on Spiral Knights on Massively!

This game is so cute. Arcade style of play.

After blundering through the first 30 minutes, the game becomes more intuitive and addictive. But be warned, this game is very much an arcade game that you can play as a team. As such, you might lose sight that this game swallows energy points like quarters in a real arcade and will cost you if you are not careful.

Scratch that. I just found out you can buy Energy with Crowns and sell excess if you don't plan on playing for a couple days. Actually a pretty cool system.
I'm really enjoying this game so far. Only problem seems to be that gear is hard to get. I can't craft anything for lack of materials and the vendors aren't the most helpful.

Interesting little game. Anyone got any ideas on how to set this up on Steam? Being a pain in the arse about starting from Steam.
