Really looking forward to the next update. I hope it has a little more content than the Catwoman encounters though.

Ok, its good to hear they are fixing bugs and the UI changes will most likely be welcome.
However tell me what the point of spending time releasing holiday content after the holiday is again?
Its also nice to change the league tab but how about they actually make it useful by having the league status work.
I am slowly losing interest unfortunately. I know its early but as usual SOE takes time to perfect features that should work well from the start. Todays audience has so many choices they are not willing to wait for these things and its tough to get them back once they leave.

@Itoao

So that it'll be ready for next year I think. If they worry about it right now they will be able to get it out there next year with little to no stress and at the appropriate time.

I lost interest right before the catwoman update. Rewrardless open world pvp and the same dailies over and over to grind tokens for gear just doesn't do it for me (unless that changed).

Does that mean the light powers will be playable in this update? Anyone know if any new powers or when new powers will get added to the game? Right now that would be the only thing to make me come back and play.

Hope the patch does some good for the game

@Wolf Am I

The only place players will see new playable powers in Update 2 is in Legends PvP. The last couple of times I've spoken with Chris Cao, he's indicated adding new powersets (usually the physical "Might & Mastery" set) isn't something on the immediate dev list.

Interesting the change in priority from raids to alerts for the future :)
Maybe we might see the real end game content shift towards 4-man, as opposed to 8-man? I would love it if this happened, large groups for me are more trouble than it's worth.

@DarkWalker

He said that what players are paying attention to most is driving what's getting put on the development list. The more popular 4-mans are, the more likely you're going to see that content beefed up fastest. I didn't get the feeling that he was talking about switching 8-man raids to 4-mans, but I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing a great deal more alert and other 4-man content popping up.

Is there a chance they'll actually fix some of the broken elements of the game? I want to love DCUO rather than be frustrated by it..

Actually, I read the entirety of the article. For One, I was making a Pun regarding all the "Chance" that Update2 is going to be bringing us, and Two, just because Chris Cao says something is getting fixed does not mean that it's actually getting fixed.

Ugh, I bet my sub is about over. WTF is up with the PSN wallet1 Everytime i want to buy something with a credit card, it says my info is incorrect.Happened last month when i wanted to buy 3months for 29 bucks. If its still up, i'll do that.

I like the game, but the queue times are horrible.

I like the batcave raid roll outs so far, hopefully something similar will happen with magic and meta. One thing I would like to see is more iconic opponents in the raids. Most of the Batcave and Khandaq instances are new characters. A raid against more of the Flash Rogues, Superman Revenge Squad, or the Injustice Society (Justice Society for villains) would feel more epic.

Is this update being released without any player testing? Yes? Sure it will go well then.

Legends never spawns on my server (VnV) so it's hard to get excited about Two Face.

Also, if they were really seeing what most people are doing in pve, it's running HMAs. Why not add a new Alert?

Also to say 'light powers have arrived in dcuo' is a bit stupid given the amount of people crying for it as a powerset.

Eh... Legends PvP sucks IMO. I don't want to play another character. It just seems like the easiest way to add "PvP content". They need to focus on getting players OUTSIDE in the Open World. Create something for Open World PvE and PvP for max level players. Anything to get people outside. Until then I can't resub. The world is a ghost town unless you are in an instance.
