I think the things I'm most looking forward to in GW2 would be getting rid of the holy trinity, ad hoc grouping where everyone that helps gets a share of the loot, and the advancement of the GW world's lore.

I love the fact that you can actually impact the world, and those around you can see the world change.

Everything about the Guardian.

Heavy armor wearing "caster" that isn't just another iteration of "The Paladin".

They aren't doing what everyone else does. They're leading the way of innovation. I wish more companies were like ANet.

Hmmm so many choices. Well first off, I love the simple fact that our characters can jump this time! Jumping is so underappreciated its not even funny.

I also like that the classes, while similar to the MMO standard type classes, are still different in their own ways. Guardian, for example, is a class I will definetely have to try because its different than what Ive seen before.

From what Ive seen so far, the graphics and landscapes, etc are absolutely amazing to see. I am way to excited about this game, even more than I was when Wrath came out for WoW!

Story telling...... good old fashioned story telling.

The fact the Arenanet are one of the few that have ever even bothered to go back to basics and just tell a good story, tells us worlds about just how much more immersive and engaging Guild Wars 2 will be, compared to all the other boring crap the industry has to offer.

This is a strong step forward for the industry, and I hope it catches on.

The Dynamic quest system will bring much new entertainment to Guild Wars. The breaking away from the holy trinity is a bold step but who knows? It might pay off big time!

Gw2 finally became a true mmorpg.
The new death system and combat is something that i really want to test.
Hope to see it on sale soon :)

The Thief (specifically: 'stealing' things from opponents to use in battle)! And world events! Nothing like world events to bring players together (even better when there are devs behind them, though I don't think that will be the case with GW2).

Thief class. Seriously. Thief is looking to be everything I've wanted and needed. Stabbing, shooting, high acrobatics, all with a style and finesse that screams "PLAY ME!". It's about time that rogues became more than just "Backstab backstab backstab". Can't wait to see the mechanics involved with it.

I'm looking forward to the down but not out addition, this is definitly going to add serious drama to massive battles that could be won or lost at the death. I can just see a massive fight happening for a quest with just one guy remaining down but not dead, and pulling off the win, just seeing the massive pop afterwards, i can see it happening and that is just awesome. Few games strive to create such emotion, especially in MMORPG's, that addition will keep it coming again and again.
