Three Monitors in an Eyefinity group... screen real estate is *VERY* nice.

I am incredibly envious. :D That said, three monitors wouldn't fit on my desk!

True! That said, I have a giant window behind most of my desk so it isn't really an option. It does mean I get to enjoy Florida weather and cool sea breezes while at work so it's kind of a trade-off in some aspects. :D

Yikes! My Seattle-Native brain can only think of the glare contrast between window and monitor and shudder in imagined pain!

Wow, so many things, ok, first, desk HAS to be clean. I have a number of brushes and cloths to wipe away dust from the monitor/keyboard/tower. Drives me nuts playing in a mess! Also, I have my trusty leather recliner to sit in. It's starting to ware pretty bad but it fits my fat ass so well now, could never part with it.

As for gaming gear - Razor Lycosa, love the rubbery feel of the keys. But the real deal breaker is my mouse - an Evoluent verticalmouse 4. I have no clue how you people play with horizontal mice! This thing is the best, 6 buttons, on the fly DPI adjustment and the same rubber feel as the keyboard. Sorry, that sounds like an ad for them doesn't it :P

Oh yes, and the coffee! NEED MORE!!!

I actually play on a 37" HDTV. Makes FPS' amazing. I also have a 23" monitor for web browsing, papers; etc

I always use mechanical keyboards. My current is a Black Widow Ultimate. No better feeling.

my n52te and my Pulsewave 2 headset. some times it's a little hard to cram everything I need for a mmo onto only one of the speedpad's profiles, but I manage, and the pulsewave actually makes in game music sound it's naturally good!

I need hydration, primarily water (usually Fruit 2O or from the tap). If I don't need to be on Vent, then I have my tunes as well (I love Pandora). those are about the only necessities for me.

The coffee looks good. I love the smell of coffee but hate the taste for some reason. Wierd.

@Graill440 Nah, not that weird. I also love the smell but not the taste.

I don't really have any necessities. I'll often open my non-gaming laptop to look up information and keep gmail up for chat, but that's it. I have to have a good mouse and keyboard, but I spend 15 hours a day on a computer, so that's a necessity anyway.

Music -> varies depending on game, in-game activities, time of day and sobriety.

Tea -> strong, very little milk, im constantly either drinking tea or thinking about making more tea

Munch -> breaks for food are essential for long haul set-ups, beans on toast, porridge, cereal, steak dinner...

I bought a Creative tactic3D sigma. I've got a big head and it's super comfortable, sounds good and didn't break the bank. I can't attest to its build quality as of yet, as I've only had it for a couple months, but it feels solid.

Personally, I have a Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000 headset, and I absolutely adore it. The earphones fit snugly over my ears and help to block ambient noise, and the microphone has very solid noise canceling. The sound quality is great. There's an on-cord mute for when you need to sneeze or talk to someone nearby, independent volume controls--and the headset has stood up to being dropped about eleventy billion times. I've had my headset for about 3 years, so I'll be replacing it with another of the same when it eventually goes--and heavens only knows when that will happen, considering. :D
