I haven't yet participated in the Hulkageddon ganking (either on the giving or receiving end), but during the event, I warped into a lowsec asteroid belt in my Hurricane, and there was a lone Retriever mining. I don't think I ever saw a ship retract its drones and warp away so quickly ever! He left behind a can full of ore, but I didn't take any of it...nothing more useless than a Hurricane for can-flipping.

@ScottishViking

You don't can-flip in low-sec. You just shoot them.

"You don't can-flip in low-sec. You just shoot them."

Not everyone in lowsec is determined to make it like nullsec.

@ScottishViking

You should have shot him and given him an EVE lesson about risks and rewards.

@notinterested Yup, same here. After the desaster that was Darkfall I was desperate enough to try EvE and realized pretty quickly it was Darkfall in good minues the combat.

Oh well, can't have everything, can you?

This screenshot shows my biggest problem with EVE - it is the over-bright stars. They are as blinding in the centres of the systems as they are on the outskirts. I've quit the game when i realised I'm playing it in shades :S

@sauceofmagic You quit games because of the stars appear too bright for you?

I'm out of words.

@sauceofmagic You can turn the gamma settings down. If the scars are so bright that you can't look at your screen somethings misconfigured on your end anyway.

why do i see only two lazorz coming out of that barge? do i smell a retriever in a mining op?

don't really care for those things, they look much more important than they are...and every actual player knows that's a big no-no

Rule #9. Try to look unimportant. The enemy may be low on ammo.

Rule #1: Always carry more ammo than you can use.

@Calfis

Teamwork is essential; it gives the enemy other people to shoot at other than you. :P
