Bungie admits to MMO hoax

Hmm your post is highly confusing, you say you dont want to play a game that's community will most likely be full of unbearable FPS players but go on and say you love playing a game that's community is full of unbearable FPS players.Interesting...:)

I wasn't aware that Halo Reach was a fully online, subscription-based game where I was constantly interacting with FPS fans.

@Dril well you might see a bit more chat in a MMO than say a FPS lobby based game but not much IMO unless you spend more time sitting in the lobby than actually playing the games( but if its a game like Combat Arms the lobby even has a chat channel so..).And in all the "fully online, subscription-based games" that I haveplayed I was only constantly interacting with other players when I chose too.
And I find it funny how you say "FPS fans" like its a bad thing yet say you "love" one of the biggest FPS games on the market, that would make you a "FPS fan" in my book. =P

@alucard3000 unless you are saying the only part of Halo you like and play are the single player campaigns then I do apologize and disregard all of my comments. :)

That was exactly my impression as well: that admitting it was all a hoax is *in itself* a hoax. Now lets see if anyone believes the admission of the hoax is true, because if they believe it then they just got hoaxed for real this time!

(looks around) Yep! Everyone believes it was just a hoax. Boy are they going to feel stupid when Bungie actually DOES release the mmo they're working on but were trying to keep under wraps.

Or it could always be the old "Hoax-within-a-Hoax-wrapped-up-in-a-Hoax-with-Hoax-Sauce-on-top-and-a-side-of-Tiger-Woods-Adonis-DNA-blood".

I've never cared for this any of these announcements and have always thought "simple FPS in MMO lobby" at most.
