Are you looking to get away from it all? Does your themepark day job leave you dreaming of sunny sandbox beaches and skill-based progression at your own pace? Do you yearn for long days filled with crafting and exploration and steamy nights where gank-or-be-ganked is the commonly heard call of the wild?
We didn't think so.
But if you did have these base cravings, Aventurine's new Darkfall second anniversary promotion would likely be right up your alley. If you're a former subscriber, you've probably received an email outlining all the details. If you're an Agonian virgin, head to the Darkfall Epic Blog for more information on the special $9.95 client pricing and the $24.95 three-month subscription deals. Hurry up though, as the sandbox vacation deal of the decade ends on April 1st!

Is this game friendly for people short on time?

@Gaugamela it is more a commitment. I have played it, on and off, for the past couple years. Being in school it never seemed like the right MMO for me. I think casual MMOs are better if you're in school; in fact if you can...don't play any! but if you must...casual. I'm doing RIFT for now. Trust me, if I was not in school I would either be playing Fallen Earth, Eve, or this but....education is more important...not Agon.

@ Guagamela- Short on time is of course different for everyone, but with the new offline skilling, and constant/recent tweaks to the grind issues, and other improvements/patches, it is only getting better
Also, they are giving away free offline skilling points to new subbed accts. and already active accts, plus a great new client price and 3 month deal, the time to act is now, people.

Yeah, I would say DF is a commitment, but it's worth your time. You can play it as much or as little as you like and still feel like you're getting somewhere, and there's a lot to do and explore imo.

seems like a great time to try the game out again.
btw, here's a nice read on how to be efficient in pvp at around the 1-2 month mark for those that'll be picking this one up.
