"Now, characters can form or join groups of up to 48 characters."

You know, I read that and said BLEEP me sideways!

That's pretty awesome.

I love the large level range of the new Task Forces, plus I can think of all sorts of situations where the Leagues would be useful. I'm quite pleased, and since this just the initial news bit? I'm looking forward to seeing more (PAX is coming, isn't it?)...

"...a fortress made of lashed-together ships."

I smell a Snow Crash ripoff there. Just saying.

@Utakata

There could be worse books to get inspiration from and Stephenson would not be the only one to think about this concept. I would not be surprised if this is part of the new Hero side task force with the two Colonel Duray.

@Sente That's the general opinion, yeah. As mission maps go, it's pretty awesome.

I'm willing to be shown this is fun and cool, but this is definitely one of the more WTF moments in the game's development.

@Daemodand What is so "WTF" about this?

@Stormwalker Of all the fun and cool things that could have been added to the game, was "a bunch of ships lashed together" really on your, or anyone's, list of things you'd like to see added?

But again, I'm willing to be shown it's a fun and cool thing. However, it's most definitely a "WTF" moment.

Something that wasn't listed on the overview page, but has been discovered in the second Incarnate Trial preview, is that Issue 20 will release the next four Incarnate slots, bringing the total to five. One will grant a powerful AoE attack, one will grant a strong pet to summon, one gives you a debuff proc against your enemies on all your hostile attacks, and one gives you a ally buff power.
