I am impressed with the norn, enough to make me change my main race to Norn from Charr.

@Daegalus

But dude! Charr week hasn't happened yet! =D But yeah Norn look awesome. I think this is one of those games where I'll have to try a lot of different builds before I'm satisfied enough to reach the level cap.

@Integral Oh I know, Charr are awesome, but Norn appeal to me more. I have always loved Norse Mythology and the Anglo-Saxon races, plus their size and some traditions remind me of my own slavic ones. (only some are similar). Plus I am a big slavic guy so It will increase my enjoyment of my main since I will get to immerse myself better. I will still make a Charr Engineer unless its an Alchemist, then it will be norn too xD.

Norn Mesmer, Charr Warrior, Norn Guardian, Charr Engineer or Norn Alchemist.

Very interesting, but I'm waiting for Sylvari week, because it's a brand new race with very little back story revealed, and no role in the original! Unless they are lurking in the jungles of Kryta >_o

@Danteeeee

Knowing Anet they're teasing us with that one, probably be the last race they show along with the socalled "gunner class." And so we wait.

I think we can expect more information from the other remaining races as well. Human week might have seemed a little light in comparison, but we PLAYED their history in GW1. There's not a lot of new info there. The Charr might be a little similar, but I'm sure there's some behind-the-scenes history we didn't see in the games. The norn, sylvari & asura, though, are all pretty new in comparison and there's a lot of history to retcon into the new story.

tough call.. after reading the 2nd GW book and Norn Week I'm leaning heavily toward Norn with Charr pulling in 2nd place, we'll see once we get a look at Charr week.

Have been REALLY looking forward to Norn week. Since they first appeared in GW1 I have loved this race, and I can say without a doubt that my first character in GW2 will be Norn. The screen shots of the starting area, and in particular the Norn themselves, have only made me even more sure that Norn are for me.

If it wasnt for the fact that each race gets a "unique" story arc (maybe more than 1?) that the geek in me must play through, I probably would have made only Norns. As it stands, I can see me having at least 1 of each race (assuming we get enough character slots for that), but if there are any extra spaces...they'll be Norn.

I love to see people looking for to GW2. Norn week was great, and its just adding fuel to the fire (in a good way). But they still have 3 more weeks they can do! Its just getting better and better.
