I have enjoyed these little stories that go with each of the "souls", wish I'd have had time to experiment with a cabalist, sounds like it might be lotsa fun! (Don't care for the name though, anyone who knows anything about the source of the name knows there's no logical connection, they really should have come up with something more appropriate.)

I enjoyed this class with Inquisitor in beta's will continue it come tomorrow in headstart..

Being a warlock in EQ2 I found that the Cabalist -- which is ironically in the cleric archetype rather than the mage although it is most assuredly a damage-dealing class -- closely resembled what I have become familiar with in terms of class mechanics with the EQ2 warlock. It was the class I enjoyed the most during my time in the last two closed beta tests. (It underwent substantial changes - as in total overhaul - prior to that.)
