Is it even going to be worth trying to log in at 10?

I got the beta downloaded last night, there's a couple of annoyances, the game changed my computer video settings to the game settings and moved my desktop gadgets(Win 7) around which I'm hoping was a one time thing.
Other than that I'm looking forward to it.

Log in was stupid smooth and I didn't have any problems getting the patches either. The intro areas were really crowded, but it's very easy to group up with someone. There's a button on everyone's portrait to group up if you're on the same quest.

You also get credit for certain quests as long as you're in the area too. It's a very slick system.

They're still not doing anything about animations. And it's not long to the launch either.

Animations are fine if you run the game at the right settings for your PC.

What about them specifically? They've been pretty open to feedback if you give it to them in detail and not just whiny complaints. (Not that you are, just saying)

@Beltyra I gave them feedbacks about the running and the mount animations ever since beta 4, which is, half an hour after I logged in for the first time. Just as hundreds of other people did in the forums, comments, ingame feedback and where ever else the topic visuals appeared.
I haven't found a single reaction of Trion to any of that.

@Dril Settings don't change animations. They change visuals, but not wether my char runs nice and straight or always seems to run the danger of dislocating her shoulders.

Glad they changed the Dwarfs. I love dwarfs and thosee were the ugliest from any MMO I have ever seen.

@Gaugamela Well, they aren't Lineage dwarves, but they don't look bad. Better than WoW dwarves still. WoW Female Dwarves made me wonder how the species survived at all.

The females are actually really well done. But the male dwarves are hideous, opposed to any of the other races.
The WAR dwarves are the best looking dwarves in any game IMO.
WoW Dwarves were okay when the game was released. Now they are jjust completely outdated.

arent you guys all worried about getting burnt out playing this game before retail hits?? im not into my alts and tend to stick with the same char throughout a game and generally hate replaying stuff, but to go through all the same quests, same areas etc but with a slightly different char doesnt appeal to me

@Bongo123 For me, I can't say I like grinding the same zones over and over either. But I couldn't stand playing the same character for more than a few hours at a time, get's too monotone. Rift hopefully changes that to an extent. GW2 might really do the trick though, finally a game where I could play one char for a week without getting bored to death. I'll see how it works out.
