Well, having had a hobby of reading fantasy novels, and liking DDO and typically D&D books in general i'll have to keep an eye on this. However I am unfamiliar with the author.

Though, I don't know why a book based on DDO would spin off into Khorvaire, it seems counter productive to market it as a DDO novel then abandon that for the last part; which leads me to suspect either an expansion, which this will tie into, which i highly doubt, or this a editorial mandate to try and bring DDO players into the pnp game.

The last editorially mandated novel i read from wotc was the cleric quintet by Salvatore, and i highly doubt even the most hard core fan of his would call that anything better than mediocre.

Oh well, maybe Ms. Marcy will prove me wrong. Either way if they do more, i want to learn more about Stormreach, and Xen'drik, not Khorvaire; unless they intend to expand to that in game. Under a DDO name anyway.
